Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Audit Associate on a full-time basis in Highland Park, TX. This role focuses on financial statement audit work within an assurance practice and is ideal for recent accounting graduates or soon-to-be graduates who meet the educational requirements to sit for the CPA exam in their intended state of employment.
What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is looking for team members who will support audit engagements and help maintain high standards of financial reporting. Key responsibilities include:
- Conduct financial statement audits in accordance with Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS)
- Apply auditing methodologies to evaluate financial records and internal controls
- Review and verify financial documents for accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Use data analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
- Support documentation of audit procedures and findings to enhance audit quality and efficiency
- Collaborate with engagement teams to resolve audit issues and deliver client-ready deliverables on schedule
- Assist senior staff with research, client communication, and project tasks
- Maintain data quality and adhere to independence, confidentiality, and professional standards
What You Must Have
To be considered for this Audit Associate role you must meet the following minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress in Accounting (final-year students are welcome)
- Minimum overall GPA of 3.0
- Meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in the state where you intend to work prior to starting full-time
- Authorization to work in the United States for the employer that hires you

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $53,500 - $104,000 per year. Actual pay will depend on skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws.
- Eligible for an annual discretionary bonus where applicable.
- Benefits package typically includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid holidays, vacation, and personal/family sick leave. Specific benefit details will be provided by the hiring organization.
