What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is hiring an Audit Associate (Summer/Fall 2027) to join its Assurance team in Glendale, CO. This is an entry-level, full-time role focused on supporting financial statement audits, learning auditing methodologies, and contributing to high-quality client deliverables.

• Conduct financial statement audits in accordance with Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS)
• Apply auditing methodologies to evaluate financial documents and internal controls
• Review and verify financial records for accuracy and regulatory compliance
• Use data analysis to identify trends, support audit conclusions, and inform recommendations
• Document processes and audit procedures to promote efficiency and consistency
• Support project management tasks to meet audit timelines and deliverables
• Collaborate with engagement teams and communicate findings to clients and senior staff
• Apply technical accounting knowledge to resolve reporting issues and validate data quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (completed or in final academic year)
• Minimum overall GPA: 3.0 (competitive applicants often have 3.5+)
• Meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in the state of intended employment before starting full-time
• Strong analytical skills and comfort working with financial data
• Professional communication skills and ability to work in team settings

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range (Glendale, CO): $53,500 - $104,000 per year. Actual pay within this range will depend on skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable employment laws.
• Eligible employees may receive an annual discretionary bonus.
