What You’ll Do
As an Audit Associate with our confidential client you will join the Assurance team and support financial statement audit engagements. This is an entry-level role focused on learning, contributing to client work, and building technical audit skills.
- Conduct financial statement audits in compliance with Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS)
- Apply auditing methodologies to evaluate financial records and internal controls
- Review and verify financial documentation for accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Use data analysis to identify trends, risks, and areas that need further testing
- Document audit procedures and findings to support conclusions and recommendations
- Collaborate with engagement teams to address audit issues and propose corrective actions
- Support project management tasks to meet timelines and deliverables
- Communicate clearly with clients and internal stakeholders to address inquiries
- Support senior staff with research and technical accounting questions
- Maintain data quality and confidentiality of sensitive financial information
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or equivalent)
- Minimum 3.0 overall GPA
- Before starting full-time, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment
- Entry-level: candidates will have completed or be completing their final academic year of educational requirements
- Strong attention to detail, integrity, and ability to work in teams
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- Overall GPA of 3.5 or higher preferred
- Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards
- Experience or coursework in auditing methodologies and internal controls
- Comfort using data analysis tools and Excel; interest in audit analytics
- Ability to learn and apply new technologies — including AI tools that create efficiencies and improve audit outcomes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and a client-service mindset
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $53,500 - $104,000 per year (actual pay depends on skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable law)
- Eligible for an annual discretionary bonus
