What You’ll Do
This role supports assurance engagements across closely held businesses, nonprofits, and other client types. You’ll work directly with managers and partners, gain broad exposure to audits and financial reporting, and own meaningful portions of engagements sooner than at larger firms.
- Assist with and lead audit and assurance engagements
- Perform risk assessment, control testing, substantive testing, and financial statement preparation
- Work with closely held businesses, nonprofit organizations, and clients across industries
- Communicate findings and recommendations to managers, partners, and clients
- Build and maintain client relationships; deliver high-quality, timely work
- Mentor junior staff (Audits Associate level may support more junior team members)
Experience Levels
Audit Associate (Entry / 0–2 years)
- Entry-level or early career candidates
- CPA eligible or actively pursuing CPA licensure
- Desire to learn audit methodology, accounting standards, and client-facing skills
Audit Senior (Experienced / 3–5 years)
- Public accounting experience required
- CPA required (or very near completion)
- Experience leading or owning portions of audits and mentoring staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)
- 0–5 years of public accounting experience (level depends on Associate vs Senior)
- Strong understanding of audit and accounting principles and GAAP
- CPA eligible (Associate) or CPA required (Senior)
- Strong communication, teamwork, and client service skills
- Interest in a long-term public accounting career with a path to leadership

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $60,000–$90,000 (based on experience) + bonus opportunities

Location
This position is based in Creve Coeur, MO (St. Louis area). Candidates should be able to work on-site as required by client engagements.
