What You’ll Do
As an Audit Associate you will support financial statement audits and related assurance engagements for the Confidential Client. This is an entry-level role focused on learning audit methodology, applying technical accounting standards, and delivering high-quality work while building client-facing and teamwork skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct financial statement audit procedures in compliance with Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS)
- Apply audit methodologies to evaluate financial documents and internal controls
- Review and verify financial records for accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Use data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and insights to support audit conclusions
- Document processes and findings to improve audit efficiency and quality
- Collaborate with engagement teams to address audit issues and propose solutions
- Support project management tasks to meet deadlines and client deliverables
- Maintain data quality and safeguard sensitive financial information
- Communicate clearly with clients and internal stakeholders to support client service objectives
Qualifications (Minimum)
- Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Minimum overall GPA: 3.0
- Before starting full-time, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment
- Entry-level / client service associate candidates should be in their final academic year or have recently completed degree requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Overall GPA of 3.5 or higher
- Familiarity with accounting and financial reporting standards (GAAP)
- Demonstrated understanding of auditing methodologies and GAAS
- Experience or interest in using data analytics and AI tools to improve audit efficiency
- Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $53,500 - $104,000 per year. Actual pay will depend on skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
- Eligible employees may receive an annual discretionary bonus.
- Typical benefits may include medical, dental, vision, retirement savings (401k), paid time off, and other standard benefits. Specific benefits details will be provided by the Confidential Client.
