What You’ll Do

As an Audit Associate for a confidential client in the Accounting & Finance industry (Atlanta, GA), you will support financial statement audits and related assurance work. Typical responsibilities include:

• Conduct financial statement audits in accordance with Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS)
• Apply auditing methodologies to evaluate financial records and internal controls
• Review and verify financial documents for accuracy and compliance with policies and regulations
• Use data analysis to identify trends and support audit conclusions
• Document processes and audit findings to enhance audit efficiency and quality
• Collaborate with engagement teams to address findings and develop recommendations
• Support client communications and help manage deliverables to meet timelines
• Escalate and research technical accounting issues and apply accounting/reporting standards
• Follow professional and independence requirements and protect sensitive financial information

What We’re Looking For

Must have

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting completed or in progress
• Minimum 3.0 overall GPA (preference for 3.5)
• Meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment before starting full-time
• Entry-level availability: candidates who have completed or are completing their final academic year

• Demonstrated knowledge of GAAP and accounting/financial reporting standards
• Familiarity with auditing methodologies and data analysis tools
• Experience or interest in applying automation/AI to create efficiencies
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $53,500 - $104,000 (actual compensation depends on skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable laws)
• Annual discretionary bonus eligibility

• Support for professional development and CPA exam eligibility where applicable
