What You’ll Do
Confidential client is hiring an Assurance Staff Accountant to join their Montrose, OH team. This is a hands-on audit and assurance role with strong training, mentoring, and professional-growth opportunities. You’ll work on client engagements, perform testing, assist with reporting, and contribute to firm initiatives.
- Perform audit and assurance procedures across a range of engagements
- Execute account testing, document findings, and assist with financial reporting
- Support engagement teams with client communications and day-to-day deliverables
- Apply technical accounting standards and ensure compliance on engagements
- Participate in training, receive ongoing feedback, and develop technical skills
- Engage in firm initiatives such as business development, recruitment, DEI, and community service
Who You Are
Required
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting
Preferred
- Minimum GPA: 3.0
- Pursuing required credit hours to sit for the CPA Exam (CPA track encouraged)

Employment Details
- Location: Montrose, OH (full-time, permanent)
- Employment type: Full-time
- Estimated base salary range: $60,000 - $85,000
