Overview
Confidential Client’s Global Value Engineering Center of Excellence is hiring Associate Value Engineers for a 12-month Orbit Program focused on AI-driven data science and analytics. This immersive program blends client engagements, mentorship, and hands-on technical training to launch your career in enterprise software and process intelligence.
What You’ll Do
- Consult with customers to identify core business challenges and map how process-intelligence solutions can drive measurable outcomes.
- Present AI-driven value propositions to technical and executive stakeholders and align solutions with customer AI strategies.
- Prototype and develop AI solutions (traditional ML and LLM-based) tailored to customer needs.
- Build proofs of concept and demo projects that showcase process intelligence and data-driven recommendations.
- Develop and modify data models and analyses using SQL and PQL to create compelling prototypes.
- Lead proof-of-concept projects and collaborate with customers, partners, and internal teams to ensure value realization.
- Articulate and quantify business value (ROI/TCO) and deliver impactful presentations to senior management.
- Contribute reusable collateral, best practices, and tools to the Value Engineering Center of Excellence.
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Data Analytics, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related STEM field.
- Extensive internship experience or 1–3 years of full-time work experience.
- Hands-on experience with at least one analytics tool or language (SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
- Customer-centric mindset with the ability to build trusted relationships and influence senior stakeholders.
- Confidence presenting to diverse audiences and excellent communication skills in English.
- Proactive, curious, self-motivated, and committed to continuous learning.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Bonus Points
- GPA of 3.6 or higher.
- Degree in Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
- Combined technical + business degree (e.g., Computer Science + Economics).
- Experience with Python and machine learning.
- Customer-facing, customer success, or sales experience.
- Experience with proof-of-concept projects and modeling ROI / TCO.
- Supply chain (procurement, order management, inventory, production) or finance (AP/AR) process experience.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
- Fluency in French and/or Spanish.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range for Ny State Campus, NY: $90,000—$95,000 USD (Full Time).
- Total compensation may include base salary + bonus/commission + equity + benefits (health, dental, life, 401k, and paid time off).
