What You’ll Do
As an entry-level tax associate, you will support client engagements and build technical tax skills while receiving coaching from experienced staff and managers.
- Work with client personnel to reconcile account differences and analyze financial data
- Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, and other tax returns
- Calculate tax extensions and estimate payments
- Participate in client meetings alongside partners and managers
- Support engagement documentation, deadlines, and quality control procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required (Associate-level positions require at least a bachelor’s)
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
- Minimum grade of C or higher in job-relevant coursework and intermediate accounting
- Eligible to sit for the CPA exam in at least one U.S. state by the start date of the role
- Solid technical accounting knowledge and strong analytical ability
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel required)
- Reliable transportation to and from the assigned office and availability to attend off-site meetings in person
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire; visa sponsorship is not available for this position
