What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Tax Associate for a full-time role in Cincinnati, OH. This is a hands-on tax position for accounting students or recent graduates pursuing CPA eligibility. You will work directly with clients and senior staff to prepare tax returns, analyze financial data, and support tax engagements across a range of industries.
- Work with client personnel to reconcile account differences and analyze financial data
- Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, and other tax returns
- Calculate tax extensions and estimate tax payments
- Participate in client meetings alongside partners and managers
- Support project workflows, documentation, and tax research as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting (required for Associate level)
- Pursuing the education requirements to be licensed as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Ohio; completion of 150 credit hours must be met prior to the role start date
- Eligible to sit for the CPA exam in the state where the assigned office is located
- Solid technical accounting knowledge
- Reliable transportation and ability to attend client meetings and internal events in person
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior internships or experience in a public accounting tax role
- Familiarity with tax preparation workflows and basic tax research
