Role Overview

Confidential Client is seeking an entry-level Associate Talent & Workforce Transformation Specialist to join their consultancy practice in Baton Rouge, LA. In this client-facing role you will support workforce and HR transformation projects, help design technology-enabled talent solutions, and gain hands-on consulting experience with mentorship, certifications, and structured learning.

  • Estimated salary: $44,240 per year (estimated)

What You’ll Do

  • Support client projects that transform how organizations attract, develop, manage, and empower their workforce.
  • Partner with experienced consultants, HR transformation leads, workforce strategy professionals, and technologists to deliver practical solutions.
  • Help map business processes, assist with workforce analytics and reporting, and contribute to skills-based workforce planning efforts.
  • Assist with configuration, testing, and rollout activities for HR systems and cloud-based HCM tools when needed.
  • Participate in client workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions; help synthesize findings and build recommendations.
  • Learn and apply AI-enabled techniques and automation to improve employee experience and workforce operations.
  • Complete professional development activities, certifications, and mentorship milestones to grow as a consultant.

Required technical & professional qualifications

  • Currently completing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Foundational understanding of business processes, workforce management, human resources, or organizational effectiveness concepts.
  • Familiarity with basic data analysis, reporting, process improvement, or business problem-solving from coursework, internships, academic projects, or self-study.
  • Strong interest in talent development, skills-based workforce planning, employee experience, or workforce transformation.
  • Curiosity about emerging technologies (including AI and automation) and how they impact the future of work and skills.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and client-facing skills; willingness to learn and take direction from experienced consultants.

Preferred experience

  • Exposure to HR technology, talent management, workforce operations, or enterprise applications through internships, projects, or coursework.
  • Familiarity with workforce analytics, Human Capital Management (HCM) concepts, business process optimization, or cloud-based HR platforms.
  • Interest in Workday, HR systems configuration, or data-driven talent solutions.
  • Participation in internships, case competitions, student organizations, or research projects related to HR, analytics, or organizational change.
