What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is hiring entry-level Associate Systems Engineers to join an engineering team supporting mission-critical systems. In this role you will work across the systems lifecycle — from requirements and design through integration, verification, and sustainment — helping translate customer needs into engineered solutions.

• Perform technical planning, system integration, verification & validation, cost and risk analyses, and supportability/effectiveness assessments for total systems.
• Conduct functional analysis, timeline analysis, detailed trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition.
• Support design reviews, lab/field testing, and troubleshooting during development, installation, and deployment phases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional hardware and software teams to ensure requirements are met within schedule and cost constraints.
• Document analysis results, design decisions, and test reports; present findings to engineers and program leadership.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications — candidates must meet ALL of the following:

• Completing or have completed a degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD) from an accredited institution.
• Major in Aerospace, Chemical, Computer, Electrical, Industrial & Systems, Mechanical, Computer Science, or Systems Engineering.
• Must be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Overall cumulative GPA of 3.70/4.0 or higher.
• Current active Secret security clearance or higher.
• Prior coursework or project experience in systems integration, verification & validation, or requirements engineering.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range (Roy, UT): $65,800 — $98,800 per year.
• Primary level salary range (guideline): $63,900 — $95,900 per year.
• Relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates.
• Benefits may include health insurance, life & disability insurance, retirement/savings plan, paid time off, company holidays, and potential discretionary bonuses or long-term incentives depending on level and role.

Note: The salary ranges above represent general guidelines. Final base salary offers consider experience, education, skills, position responsibilities, and market conditions.

• Job location: Roy, UT (on-site at client facilities).
• Clearance: Ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite for clearance.
