Overview

Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Associate Systems Engineer to support systems engineering activities across the program lifecycle in Colorado Springs, CO. This is a Level 1 / recent-graduate friendly role working closely with software, test, and cross-functional engineering teams. The position follows a 9/80 schedule (work 9 out of 14 days, every other Friday off).

What You’ll Do

• Support systems engineering activities across the program lifecycle
• Assist with technical planning, requirements analysis, and system documentation
• Support system integration, verification, validation, and deployment activities
• Collaborate with software, test, and cross-functional teams to ensure system requirements are met
• Assist troubleshooting efforts and document technical findings
• Help coordinate multiple engineering tasks to meet program schedules and deliverables
• Participate in design/review meetings and contribute to technical presentations and reports

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree (or completed within the last 12 months) in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Aviation, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in collaborative, cross-functional teams
• Basic familiarity with systems engineering concepts (requirements analysis, integration, verification/validation)
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced engineering environment
• Ability to obtain a government security clearance may be required for some roles

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $62,000 - $115,000 per year (pay transparency provided for applicable states). Final offer may vary based on experience and location.
