What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is hiring entry-level Associate Systems Engineers through a Pathways program to join a mission-focused engineering team in Baltimore, MD. In this role you will learn and apply systems engineering practices to support secure, integrated mission systems. You’ll collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, contribute to technical reviews and documentation, and support testing and integration activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Support systems requirements development, traceability, and verification activities
• Assist with systems design documentation, interface definitions, and architecture reviews
• Participate in integration, test planning and execution, and problem resolution
• Help analyze data and prepare technical reports and presentations for stakeholders
• Work with cross-functional teams (software, hardware, test, program management) to meet project objectives
• Adhere to security policies and support activities requiring cleared access when needed

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must meet ALL of the following:

• Bachelor’s degree completed or in final term from an accredited institution
• Degree in Math, Physics, Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a closely related STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math)
• U.S. citizenship (required to obtain U.S. Government security clearance)
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (Final DoD Secret clearance required to start)
• Ability to obtain Special Access Program access within a reasonable period as determined by the client

Preferred Qualifications

• Overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher
• Current/active DoD Secret clearance (preferred)
• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn in a fast-paced, security-focused environment

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range (Bachelors): $72,700 - $109,100 per year
• Employment type: Full-time (may include contractor situations as required by program needs)
• Relocation assistance may be available
• Typical benefits may include health insurance, retirement/savings plan, paid time off, and training/development opportunities (final benefits depend on the hiring client and role)

• Work location: Baltimore, MD (on-site or client-designated facility)
• Travel: Approximately 10% (as needed)
