Role Overview

Confidential Client is recruiting an entry-level Associate PATHWAYS Supply Chain Planning Specialist for a rotational Pathways program based in Baltimore, MD. This paid, early-career role provides three rotations across global supply chain functions such as procurement, program planning, and supplier quality. The program is designed to build hands-on experience with SAP, Ariba, supplier engagement, planning KPIs, and procurement processes while delivering meaningful contributions to critical programs.

What You’ll Do

• Support procurement activities including creation of standard material purchase orders (SMAT) in SAP.
• Create and issue Requests for Quotation (RFQs) and review supplier quotations.
• Perform basic price analysis and participate in pricing negotiations.
• Maintain procurement documentation and files using company systems.
• Navigate procure-to-pay procedures and learn how to release and change purchase orders in SAP.
• Use Ariba for supplier onboarding and assist with supplier setup.
• Act as supplier lead for non-category management suppliers during program support activities.
• Participate in program meetings, status updates, and expediting to resolve material issues.
• Create requisitions for program material, track related KPI metrics (e.g., late-to-release requisitions, on-time delivery), and support continuous improvement projects.
• Support proposal tasks and bill-of-effort (BOE) preparation for smaller efforts.
• Learn to manage a buyer work queue and organize tasks to meet program timelines.

Minimum Qualifications

Candidates must meet all of the following to be considered:

• Be completing or have completed a degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD) from an accredited institution.
• Major (or have majored) in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, or related field.
• Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite).
• Be able to obtain Special Access Program eligibility within a reasonable timeframe if required for the role.

Preferred Qualifications

• Overall cumulative GPA of 3.00/4.0 or higher.
• Previous internship, co-op, or other relevant work experience; demonstrated leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Exposure to or experience with Power BI, Tableau, SAP, Ariba, and Microsoft Office (Excel formulas, pivot tables, PowerPoint).

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range: $60,200 to $90,200 per year (provided by the client).
• This posting may be for full-time or contractor employment depending on client business needs.
