What You’ll Do

This is an entry-level engineering role on a product-focused team building Python-backed AI applications. You will work closely with experienced engineers and product owners to implement features, improve code quality, and learn modern engineering practices.

• Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining Python-based AI applications
• Implement features from clear requirements and acceptance criteria
• Define and validate data models using Pydantic
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code with guidance
• Participate in code reviews; receive and incorporate feedback
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues and bugs
• Support automated testing and CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with cross-functional teammates (QA, product, data engineers) to ship customer-focused solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field — or equivalent practical experience
• At least 1 year of experience contributing to production or enterprise-level software
• Strong working knowledge of Python and object-oriented programming
• Familiarity with building and consuming REST APIs
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team and follow instruction
• Demonstrated eagerness to learn and take initiative

AI Skills / Knowledge

• Familiarity with large language models (LLMs) and AI coding assistants such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot
• Willingness to learn and apply AI-oriented libraries and workflows within Python projects

Preferred (Nice-to-Have)

• Experience or exposure to TypeScript, JavaScript, or Node.js
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and testing concepts
• Basic exposure to backend development or data engineering concepts
• Experience or interest in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Any prior work with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing tools
