What You’ll Do
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Associate Software Engineer to join our client's engineering team. As an entry-level developer you will contribute to building, testing, and maintaining reliable software while learning from senior engineers and participating in Agile development.
- Develop, test, debug, and maintain software applications.
- Write clean, efficient, scalable, and maintainable code.
- Collaborate with senior developers, product managers, QA engineers, and other team members.
- Participate in code reviews and follow established coding standards.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and propose appropriate solutions.
- Develop and integrate APIs and third‑party services when required.
- Write unit tests and support application testing and quality assurance activities.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Learn and apply new technologies, frameworks, and development practices.
- Contribute to technical documentation and project-related activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in software development; recent graduates are welcome.
- Good understanding of programming fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms.
- Strong problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills; able to collaborate in cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- Any internship or project experience building web services, APIs, or automated tests.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development practices.
- Interest in expanding into backend/frontend/cloud tooling as projects require.
