What You’ll Do

As an Associate Software Engineer with Confidential Client you’ll help build and improve cloud-based SaaS products used by legal professionals worldwide. In this early-career role you’ll work on product features, reliability, and performance while learning from experienced engineers and using AI-assisted development tools.

  • Develop and deliver high-quality software features that improve customer experiences across the product portfolio
  • Help identify and resolve stability, performance, and reliability issues
  • Collaborate with Product, UX, and Quality Engineering to translate customer and business needs into product capabilities
  • Improve code quality and maintainability through automated testing, peer review, and engineering best practices
  • Use AI-driven development tools to increase delivery velocity and improve code quality
  • Work on scalable cloud-based services and APIs serving a global customer base
  • Participate actively on an Agile engineering team and drive continuous improvement

What You’ll Bring

Must-haves (minimum qualifications):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field — or equivalent practical experience
  • 0–2 years of software engineering experience (including internships, academic projects, or professional experience)
  • Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Java
  • Foundational understanding of software development principles, object-oriented design, and version control (Git)
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Clear communication skills, a growth mindset, and eagerness to learn in an AI-first engineering environment

Nice to Haves

  • Exposure to full-stack web development (.NET / C#, REST APIs, or similar frameworks)
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
  • Experience using AI-powered development assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor)
  • Familiarity with Agile development practices, data analytics, or AI/ML applications
  • Participation in open-source projects, hackathons, or relevant side projects

Location & Work Model

This is a hybrid role based in Denver, CO. The position requires in-office presence for collaboration and connection at least three days per week.


Compensation & Benefits

Pay Transparency for Colorado Applicants:

  • Base salary range: $105,000 to $125,000 USD (final compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, education, and other qualifications).
  • Eligible to participate in a company bonus plan.
  • Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) with company match, and incentive/recognition programs (subject to eligibility).
