What You’ll Do

This is an entry-level Associate Software Engineer role on a hybrid, AI-driven SaaS engineering team. You’ll help build and maintain cloud-based applications and features that support legal/enterprise customers at scale. You will collaborate with Product, UX, and Quality Engineering to deliver reliable, secure, and maintainable software.

• Build high-quality software features across a SaaS product portfolio.
• Diagnose and resolve application stability, performance, and reliability issues.
• Partner with Product, UX, and Quality to deliver customer-focused capabilities.
• Improve code quality via testing, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
• Use AI-powered development tools to accelerate development and streamline workflows.
• Contribute to scalable cloud services that support a global customer base.
• Grow technical skills across modern frameworks, cloud platforms, and emerging AI technologies while working in an Agile team.

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves:

• 0–2 years of software engineering experience (including internships, academic projects, or professional experience).
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Java.
• Foundational understanding of software development principles, object-oriented design, and version control (Git).
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, a growth mindset, and enthusiasm for learning new technologies in an AI-first engineering environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field — or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to Haves

• Exposure to full-stack web development using .NET/C#, REST APIs, or similar frameworks.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Experience using AI-powered development tools like GitHub Copilot or similar coding assistants.
• Familiarity with Agile development practices, data analytics, AI/ML applications, or legal technology domain exposure through projects or open-source work.

Working Model & Location

This position is hybrid, based in Denver, CO. The expectation is to be in-office for collaboration at least three days per week.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay Transparency for Colorado Applicants:

• The base salary range for this role is $105,000 to $125,000 USD. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, education, and other relevant qualifications.
• This role is eligible to participate in a company bonus plan.
• Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) with company match, and incentive/recognition programs (subject to eligibility).
