What You’ll Do
- Join a Confidential Client IT team to learn and contribute to enterprise SAP technology engagements.
- Support SAP Basis & HANA Basis activities: system configuration, monitoring, performance tuning, availability, database operations, integrations, migrations, and application operations.
- Contribute to SAP BW/HANA data and analytics tasks: data modeling, ETL/data integration, reporting, and analytics pipelines.
- Assist with SAP HANA application security work: identity & access management, role-based access control, security configuration, risk assessments, compliance checks, and security monitoring.
- Troubleshoot technical issues, analyze system logs and performance metrics, and apply structured problem-solving to resolve incidents.
- Work on client projects across industries (healthcare, financial services, public sector, retail, manufacturing, energy, consumer products) alongside experienced SAP specialists, architects, developers, data and cybersecurity professionals.
- Participate in formal training, certifications, and mentorship programs; document work, produce clear status updates, and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Required technical and professional expertise
- Currently completing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Foundational understanding of programming concepts, databases (SQL), operating systems (Linux/Windows), cloud fundamentals, data analytics, or cybersecurity basics.
- Hands-on exposure (coursework, labs, projects, internships, certifications, hackathons, or personal learning) to one or more of: software development, databases, system administration, cloud computing, data integration, ETL, networking, or application support.
- Ability to analyze technical information, troubleshoot problems, and follow structured problem-solving methods.
- Strong curiosity and interest in developing SAP and enterprise-application expertise.
- Awareness of modern technology trends — AI/automation, cloud platforms, data platforms, and cybersecurity — and eagerness to learn how they intersect with enterprise systems.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate on multidisciplinary teams.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred technical and professional experience
- Exposure to enterprise applications or SAP through coursework, labs, internships, or projects.
- Familiarity with SQL, Linux, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), data integration tools, or analytics platforms.
- Basic understanding of identity and access management, security concepts, or compliance frameworks.
- Interest in consulting, client-facing delivery, and continuous learning through certifications and hands-on client work.
