Position Overview

Confidential Client is seeking an Associate Sales Representative to begin a career in medical device and healthcare technology sales. This entry-level field role is ideal for early-career sales professionals (1–2 years experience) who are coachable, competitive, and committed to building relationships with clinical customers. The position is based in Florin, CA and includes structured training, mentorship, and a defined path to a full Territory Manager role.


What You’ll Do

  • Partner with senior Territory Managers to grow business across an assigned territory
  • Develop and maintain relationships with physicians, primary care providers, nurses, office managers, and clinical staff
  • Support and target healthcare accounts while identifying expansion opportunities
  • Educate healthcare providers on diagnostic and clinical technologies
  • Drive product awareness, utilization, and customer engagement
  • Execute territory business plans and track progress toward goals
  • Learn reimbursement, healthcare economics, and clinical workflows
  • Deliver excellent customer service and act as a trusted resource for customers
  • Maintain accurate territory activity and sales reporting
  • Consistently work to achieve and exceed sales targets

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1–2 years experience in one or more of the following:
    • Pharmaceutical Sales
    • Medical Device Sales
    • B2B Outside Sales
    • Healthcare Sales
    • Business Development / Account Management
    • Clinical Sales or Inside Sales with outside customer interaction
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong relationship-building skills
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel 25–50% within the territory (including 1–2 overnight stays per week)
