The Opportunity
The Confidential Client is hiring an Associate Sales Representative (Cardiac Rhythm Management / CRM) to be a field-based sales and clinical support representative in the Wichita, KS area. This is an entry-level to early-career field sales role within the cardiac rhythm management portion of the healthcare and medical devices sector, focused on supporting clinicians, sales teams, and patients with CRM products.
What You’ll Work On
Operating with general guidance, you will provide technical, clinical, educational and sales support for CRM products to physicians, clinical teams, patients, and internal field sales staff.
- Act as a clinical interface between the medical community and the business
- Respond to field and clinical inquiries with engineering, clinical, or product support
- Build and sustain credible relationships with healthcare professionals
- Lead or facilitate product trainings and education programs for clinicians and staff
- Provide back-up support to CRM Sales Representatives as needed
Key Responsibilities
- Offer clinical, educational, technical, and sales support for Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) products
- Maintain current product and technical knowledge, including market trends and competitor awareness
- Develop and deliver training sessions and educational programs for healthcare professionals
- Use sales and territory data to manage accounts and inform activities
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (sales, clinical, technical) to achieve territory goals
- Provide flexible coverage for cases and client meetings, including occasional nights/weekends
- Travel approximately 25–50% depending on territory geography
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree OR four years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree
- 1–2 years of successful sales or related business experience; medical device experience preferred
- Strong organization, prioritization, and follow-up skills
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation abilities
- Comfortable working in a matrixed, geographically diverse environment and both independently and on teams
- Proficient with MS Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint; able to use reporting tools to manage territory data
- Schedule flexibility for case coverage, after-hours meetings, and occasional weekend work
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with quota attainment and sales performance metrics
- Clinical exposure or prior experience in a clinical setting (or related certifications such as ATI, PrepMD)
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to become product-certified on CRM devices within 2 years
- Demonstrated ability to interpret sales data to drive territory strategy
Compensation & Benefits
- Base pay range: $43,900 – $109,200 per year (The Confidential Client provides final pay within this range depending on location and experience.)
