Overview
Confidential Client is hiring an Associate Sales Representative, CRM for a field-based role in Des Moines, IA. This position supports the Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) business by providing clinical, technical, educational, and sales support to healthcare professionals and the sales team. This is a full-time role with travel expectations and a competitive pay range.
What You’ll Do
Operating with general guidance, you will provide engineering, clinical, education, and sales support for CRM products. You will be a clinical interface between medical customers and the business, deliver training, respond to technical and clinical questions, and support territory sales activities.
- Act as a clinical/technical liaison with physicians and healthcare teams
- Respond to field inquiries from clinicians, patients, and sales staff regarding CRM products
- Develop, lead, and facilitate product trainings and educational programs for healthcare professionals
- Provide back-up support to sales representatives as needed
- Use sales and territory data to support account management and field initiatives
- Maintain documentation of case coverage, trainings, and customer interactions
Key Responsibilities
- Build and sustain credible relationships with customers by demonstrating product knowledge and clinical expertise
- Provide on-call or scheduled case coverage; flexibility for after-hours and weekend coverage as required
- Prepare and deliver presentations and trainings (in-person and virtual)
- Collect and interpret sales and clinical data to support territory planning
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical or clinical issues
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree — or four years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree
- 1–2 years of sales or related business experience; medical device experience preferred
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn CRM product portfolio
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills across multiple organizational levels
- Proficient with MS Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Highly organized with strong follow-up skills and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Ability to work in a geographically diverse, matrixed environment and both independently and as a team member
- Willingness to travel approximately 25–50% depending on territory
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct quota attainment experience and familiarity with performance metrics
- Clinical experience or formal clinical training/certification (e.g., ATI, PrepMD) is a plus
- Ability to become fully certified on CRM products within two years
Compensation & Benefits
- Base pay range: $43,900.00 – $109,200.00 per year (Des Moines, IA). Actual pay may vary based on experience and location.
