About the Role

Confidential Client designs and delivers intelligent building solutions. As an Associate Sales Estimator you will support the sales engineering and estimating process by learning to translate project documents into accurate, competitive cost proposals. This is an entry-level professional role where you will work closely with Sales, Engineering, and senior estimators to build estimating skills, understand scopes of work, and maintain accurate pricing and project data.

Key Responsibilities

• Support estimate development by assisting senior estimators with hardware, software, and labor cost build-ups
• Review and learn to interpret control schematics, blueprints, and bid documents to identify project needs
• Draft initial scope letters and proposal templates under guidance
• Solicit and track vendor and subcontractor quotes to support pricing accuracy
• Maintain estimating databases, pricing libraries, and CRM records for the team
• Attend project turnover/handoff meetings to observe the transition to execution teams

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ years of experience in Building Automation (BAS), HVAC, controls, industrial automation, or related mechanical/electrical engineering experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Industrial, Controls Systems, Construction, Mechatronics, or related engineering discipline
• Familiarity with modern estimating software and CRM tools
• Strong analytical and organizational skills; able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable presenting ideas and strategies to leadership and diverse stakeholders

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range: $53,000 — $106,000 annually. Actual pay will depend on skills, education, experience, and other qualifications.
• Other compensation: This position may be eligible for short-term cash incentives subject to plan requirements.
