Associate Recruiter — Entry Level (Hybrid — Woodbridge, NJ)

Confidential Client is hiring entry-level Associate Recruiters in Woodbridge, NJ. This role is designed for people who are strong communicators, goal-oriented, and ready to learn recruiting from the ground up. No prior recruiting experience required — you’ll receive structured, hands-on training and the tools to build a long-term career in staffing and recruiting.


What You’ll Do

This is an activity-driven, people-focused role where your daily work directly affects your success.

  • Find and engage candidates using LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and networking
  • Conduct professional phone screens and interviews
  • Understand candidates’ experience, goals, and motivations
  • Build and manage candidate relationships and pipelines
  • Match candidates to open roles and assist through the offer process
  • Communicate with internal teams and hiring managers
  • Use recruiting tools and applicant tracking systems (ATS)
  • Track activity and hit weekly goals

What You’ll Learn

Comprehensive, hands-on training will teach you the skills recruiters use every day:

  • How to source candidates and run efficient searches
  • How to conduct phone screens and behavioral interviews
  • How to assess fit, discuss compensation, and present offers
  • How to manage pipelines and follow-up consistently
  • How to use ATS and recruiting technology
  • Communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

A Typical Day

Recruiting is fast-paced and social. Expect to spend your day:

  • Speaking with candidates and hiring managers

  • Following up and moving candidates through the process

  • Tracking activity metrics and working toward targets

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay: $45,000 — $50,000 per year
  • Schedule: Full-Time | Standard EST business hours
