Role overview

Confidential Client seeks an entry-level Associate Quality Systems Engineer to support compliance with the site Quality Management System (QMS). You will work under the direction of experienced quality engineering mentors to help ensure internal, regulatory and customer requirements are met. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Plymouth, MN.


What You’ll Do

  • Support compliance to the Confidential Client QMS, policies, and procedures.
  • Follow standard quality engineering techniques to support product/process adaptations and validations.
  • Assist with data analysis to help identify root cause for quality issues and support corrective actions (CAPA).
  • Support internal and external audits, regulatory inspections, and customer audits; help manage findings and corrective actions.
  • Help prepare and document Management Review materials and quality metrics.
  • Track and support customer notifications and nonconformance (NCR) processing.
  • Contribute to trending, KPI reporting, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Embed quality in daily work and help promote 5S, standard work, and problem-solving practices.

Key responsibilities

  • Apply standard data analysis practices to investigate quality issues and propose improvements.
  • Provide CAPA and complaint investigation support; escalate and document findings.
  • Assist with audit preparation, evidence collection, and timely closure of observations.
  • Support Quality Management in executing site Hoshin plans, validation master plans, and site quality initiatives.
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts and help standardize processes and workplace organization.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to support quality objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field (required).
  • 0–3 years relevant experience (entry-level).
  • Demonstrated technical aptitude and ability to apply standard quality engineering methods.
  • Familiarity with QMS concepts (CAPA, NCR, audits) and basic data analysis.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive, solutions-oriented attitude and commitment to safety and compliance.

Compensation & benefits

  • Salary range: $56,100 - $82,280 per year (as provided by the source).

  • Timely and thorough resolution of CAPA, NCR, audit findings and customer notifications.
