Associate Project Manager
The Associate Project Manager supports the delivery of building automation system integration projects by assisting with planning, scheduling, procurement, documentation, and coordination of subcontractors. This entry-level role involves hands-on project support in both office and field settings, offering growth opportunities within a fast-paced technical environment focused on building management systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist Project Managers with planning, scheduling, and execution of building automation and systems-integration projects.
- Support procurement: track equipment and material orders, coordinate vendor and subcontractor deliveries.
- Organize and maintain project documentation (drawings, RFIs, submittals, logs, meeting notes).
- Attend site meetings, document field observations, and track action items to closure.
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to resolve day-to-day installation and integration issues.
- Monitor subcontractor schedules and provide updates to the project team.
- Assist with system checkouts and commissioning activities.
- Help track project costs, change orders, and support budget alignment.
- Participate in project closeout (punch lists, final documentation, O&M manuals).
- Identify and escalate risks and issues to the Project Manager.
- Support client communications and regular status reporting.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–3 years’ experience in construction, building automation, or related internships/co-op experience.
- Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, and schedules.
- Basic knowledge of project management principles (scheduling, budgeting, procurement).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong organizational, time-management, written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to travel to job sites as required.
- Professional, dependable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification.
- Experience with MS Project, Bluebeam, Procore, or similar construction/project tools.
- Hands-on exposure to commissioning, controls, or low-voltage systems.
- Prior experience coordinating subcontractors in field installations.

- Competitive Base Salary: $65,000–$105,000 (depending on experience)
