About the Role
Confidential Client, a market-leading commercial solar EPC in the Midwest, is hiring an Associate Project Manager to support project delivery for commercial-scale solar installations. This is a full-time, career-track position based in Loveland, CO (day shift, Monday–Friday) with compensation of $75,000–$110,000 and up to ~30% travel for site support and inspections.
What You’ll Do
- Support Project Managers in reviewing budgets, scopes, and schedules prior to client proposals
- Assist in preparing subcontractor agreements and maintaining project documentation
- Coordinate logistics and communications across internal teams, subcontractors, utilities, and permitting authorities
- Track project progress, identify emerging issues, and compile status reports and action-item lists
- Assist with revenue forecasting and cost updates during the project lifecycle
- Attend internal and client meetings and drive follow-through on action items
- Collaborate with engineers and construction managers to ensure alignment with specifications and code
- Review design drawings, equipment lists, and installation plans for compliance and constructability
- Provide on-site support and inspections to ensure project standards — travel to sites up to 30% of the time
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- 1–3 years’ experience in project coordination, construction, or renewable energy project support
- Strong written and verbal communication skills — client-facing responsibilities expected
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar project tools a plus
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents, drawings, and specifications
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities under deadlines
- Solar PV experience is a plus; PMP or NABCEP certification (or willingness to pursue) preferred
- Ability to traverse and inspect active construction sites in variable weather; occasional lifting up to 50 lbs
