Associate Project Manager

What You’ll Do
- Assist in managing the full project lifecycle from order acceptance through shipment and project closeout.
- Coordinate internal teams (Engineering, Production, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Accounting) to meet project schedules and deliverables.
- Maintain project schedules, track milestones, and identify potential risks or delays.
- Prepare and organize project documentation including submittals, compliance forms, and progress reports.
- Communicate with customers under guidance from senior team members to provide status updates and gather technical or delivery information.
- Support cost and timeline monitoring to help maintain project profitability.
- Track and document scope changes and support internal change-management communication.
- Assist Accounting with milestone-based billing and related documentation.
- Ensure projects comply with internal quality standards, customer requirements, and applicable regulations.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of professional experience (internships, co-ops, or related roles considered).
- Strong organizational, analytical, and written/verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite — especially Excel and Word.
- Willingness to learn project scheduling and ERP/project management tools (example: Microsoft Great Plains, Epicor).
Preferred
- Exposure to manufacturing, engineering, or water/wastewater industry through internships or coursework.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (Epicor or similar).
- CAPM or project management coursework or certifications (a plus).
Compensation & Benefits
- Exempt, full-time position.
- Salary range: $54,000 to $69,999 annually.
- Bonus eligible — Target Bonus is 10% of base salary, paid based on company budgeted EBITDA and Board approval.
