What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Associate Project Engineer to support regional construction and project delivery activities. This role is a hands-on launching pad into project management and estimating and will work closely with field and office teams to keep projects on schedule, on budget, and up to quality and safety standards.
- Conduct and document safety meetings and follow safety procedures (this position is safety-sensitive)
- Create and manage punch lists to close out work items
- Support Quality Control measures following the client’s QA/QC program
- Prepare RFIs and submittals, and track responses
- Maintain labor control for assigned projects, including setup and tracking
- Perform quantitative material takeoffs to support ordering and invoicing
- Help implement and maintain the job schedule
- Coordinate warranties, O&M documentation, and handovers
- Coordinate materials with purchase orders and assist with invoicing
Who You Are / Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Construction Science, or equivalent practical experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Able to read and interpret specifications and construction drawings
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Team-oriented with the ability to learn technical job functions quickly
- Customer-service mindset with relationship-building skills
- Critical thinker with problem-solving ability and the capacity to multitask
- Motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic and ability to meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- OSHA certifications
- Willingness to travel or relocate based on project needs
Compensation & Work Details
- Salary: $80,200 per year plus a non‑guaranteed annualized bonus program
- Employment type: Full-time / Contractor (as needed)
- This role is safety-sensitive and is not eligible for visa sponsorship
