What You’ll Do
This early-career Associate Program Finance Analyst supports program-level financial management, contract deliverables, and operational finance activities. You will work closely with Project Leaders, Billing, Contracts, and Accounts Receivable teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, timely invoicing, and compliance with federal and organizational financial policies.
- Produce contractual deliverable reports (CDRLs) and government invoices; meet established deadlines
- Reconcile invoice and billing reports; pull and review invoice backup receipts
- Support full-lifecycle financial management for direct work programs (budgeting, execution, collections, contract closeout)
- Assist in pricing and estimating activities and potential change orders
- Maintain strong financial controls in accordance with FAR, CAS, and client finance policies
- Prepare analytics and reports to support leadership decision-making and project performance reviews
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure monthly contractual deliverables are completed accurately and on time
- Contribute to process improvement, business transformation efforts, and tool testing/requirements analysis
- Provide proactive service and support to Project Leaders and Department Managers
Responsibilities & Scope
The role is intended for early-career professionals (0–3 years experience) and is cohort-based as part of an Early Career Program. You will be embedded within a single department to gain deep, hands-on experience and participate in a group project to identify operational improvements.
- Drive day-to-day execution of program finance functions and operational improvements
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing and internal/external reporting
- Interface with internal business customers to identify critical financial needs
- Track impact of indirect rate changes on project financial performance
- Collect feedback on reporting tools and share requirements with enterprise business systems teams
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field — or equivalent education/experience
- Typically requires less than 1 year of related experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, core functions)
- Strong attention to detail and a resourceful, self-starting approach
- Effective communicator with solid interpersonal and presentation skills
- Mindset of continuous improvement and ability to drive change
- Must be able to work onsite a minimum of 4 days per week in Bedford, MA
Preferred Qualifications
- Academic excellence with demonstrated quantitative or financial interest
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance (U.S. citizenship required per federal clearance rules)
Compensation & Location
- Salary range: $59,600 — $74,500 — $89,400 (annual)
- Work location: Onsite in Bedford, MA; minimum 4 days per week
- Employment type: Full-time
