What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is hiring an Associate Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst to support cost/schedule control and earned value reporting for program contracts in Eldorado Springs, CO. This entry-level role helps set up and maintain validated cost-schedule control systems, produce financial and schedule analyses, and support program teams with on-time, on-budget execution.

  • Set up and maintain cost control systems and validated schedule baselines for contracts requiring cost/schedule control.
  • Monitor and control costs and schedules to ensure compliance with negotiated contract parameters and government guidelines.
  • Prepare budgets, funding profiles, schedules, and variance analyses.
  • Create program plans to capture and schedule statement-of-work requirements.
  • Perform schedule risk assessments and recommend mitigation to reduce program cost and schedule exposure.
  • Maintain accurate expenditure records and prepare timely funding requests.
  • Incorporate contractual changes into cost/schedule baselines and track outstanding work.
  • Process subcontractor invoices using PLSC2 and support earned value contracts by preparing EVM-related reports.
  • Collaborate with program and technical teams to deliver actionable financial and schedule insights.

Who You Are / Minimum Qualifications

To be considered for this position you must meet ALL of the following:

  • Completing or recently completed a degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD) from an accredited institution.
  • Major in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration/Management, or a closely related field.
  • 0–2 years of related experience (entry-level to early-career).
  • U.S. citizenship required and ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance.
  • Ability to obtain Special Access Program access within a reasonable time as required by program needs.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Cumulative GPA of 3.00/4.0 or higher.
  • Experience with SAP and Cobra (earned value management tool).
  • Familiarity with PLSC2 invoice processing.
  • Coursework or internship experience in cost estimating, schedule analysis, or earned value management (EVM).

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range (posted): $63,000 to $94,600 per year (listed by the client). Offers consider experience, education, skills, and market conditions.
  • Depending on role, may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, discretionary annual bonus, and long-term incentive eligibility for senior roles.
  • Confidential Client provides benefits such as health insurance, life and disability insurance, retirement/savings plans, paid holidays, and PTO.

Location & Travel

  • Location: Eldorado Springs, Colorado (onsite or as required by the program).
  • Travel: Approximately 10% travel may be required.
