Position Overview
Confidential Client is hiring an Associate, Product Quality to support regulatory compliance, product safety, and supplier compliance across its supply chain. This onsite role in Winona, MN focuses on ensuring consumer products meet U.S. and international standards (CPSIA, FDA, REACH, Prop 65, MoCRA, etc.), coordinating third‑party testing, maintaining compliance documentation, and partnering with sourcing, product development, operations, and suppliers.
Salary range (base): $47,500 - $58,900 USD.
What You’ll Do
- Support day-to-day regulatory, product safety, and supplier compliance activities.
- Partner cross-functionally with sourcing, product development, procurement, operations, and engineering to embed compliance early in product development.
- Coordinate third‑party testing and certifications with accredited labs (e.g., SGS, Intertek, BV, TUV).
- Collect, review, and maintain compliance documentation (test reports, Certificates of Conformance, SDS/MSDS, ingredient disclosures, supplier declarations).
- Maintain and improve compliance trackers, databases, and document repositories for accuracy and accessibility.
- Assist with supplier onboarding assessments and ongoing compliance monitoring.
- Support internal and customer audits by preparing documentation and responding to regulatory inquiries.
- Analyze compliance data to identify trends, emerging risks, and opportunities to reduce cycle time.
- Execute daily compliance tasks with high attention to detail and limited supervision.
Who You Are (Capabilities & Experience)
Required qualifications:
- 1–3 years experience in compliance, quality, sourcing support, or regulated consumer products; entry-level candidates with strong organization skills considered.
- Working knowledge of U.S. and international product regulatory frameworks (CPSIA, FDA, REACH, Prop 65, MoCRA).
- Experience with collecting and maintaining compliance documentation (test reports, COCs, SDS/MSDS).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; able to interpret technical requirements.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience building and managing compliance trackers or data repositories.
- Strong verbal and written communication; comfortable collaborating with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with professionalism and discretion.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, or related field.
