What You’ll Do

This Associate Product Manager role supports the product lifecycle for laboratory equipment, helping optimize profitability and meet business goals for a confidential client in the Appliances, Electrical, and Electronics Manufacturing industry. You will work closely with Product Managers and cross-functional teams to bring products from concept to market and support released products.

• Supports Product Managers by participating in product strategy, requirements gathering, R&D coordination, and manufacturing handoff for new and emerging products
• Conducts market research and tracks industry trends; prepares competitive analyses and positioning materials
• Manages day-to-day support of released products including technical support to customers and training for sales and customer service
• Collaborates with sales, engineering, marketing, manufacturing, and operations to define product requirements responsive to customer needs
• Provides financial and technical justification for product selection, pricing, and definition
• Collects and analyzes technical, financial, schedule, and sales information for the product line and reports findings to stakeholders
• Occasionally travels and attends trade shows to support product marketing and customer engagement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) from a four-year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience; science fields preferred
• Strong analytical skills and comfort with market and competitive analysis
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to translate technical details for non-technical audiences
• Collaboration skills: experience working with engineering, manufacturing, and commercial teams
• Customer-facing mindset with experience providing technical support or training (preferred)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) or equivalent tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience supporting laboratory instruments, weights/calibration products, or related equipment
• Experience with product development processes, manufacturing coordination, or cost/price analysis
• Familiarity with trade shows and field marketing activities

Location & Travel

This position is based in West Deptford Township, NJ. Occasional travel to trade shows and customer sites may be required.
