Associate Product Manager - UCaaS & CCaaS
The Associate Product Manager at Confidential Client will contribute to the end-to-end development and management of core UCaaS and CCaaS platforms serving hospitality, healthcare, and other industries. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to define product roadmaps, conduct customer research, and drive feature launches while ensuring compliance and leveraging AI technologies. The position offers growth into a full Product Manager role within a leading cloud communications provider owning its infrastructure.

About the Role
Confidential Client is seeking a curious, hands-on Associate Product Manager to help shape and scale core UCaaS & CCaaS products used across hospitality, gaming, healthcare, and restaurant verticals. This is a product-focused, cross-functional role where you’ll learn quickly, partner with senior product leaders, and be developed into a full Product Manager.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with senior product leaders to manage the end-to-end lifecycle of UCaaS and CCaaS offerings — discovery, prototyping, launch, and post-release optimization.
- Help define and prioritize the product backlog and roadmap, aligning features to measurable OKRs and KPIs.
- Conduct customer research and user interviews to convert real-world needs into clear user stories and product requirements.
- Own content and messaging: product announcements, go-to-market collateral, enablement materials, and customer-facing documentation.
- Support go-to-market strategy, feature launches, and adoption efforts across enterprise, SMB, and vertical segments.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, and data teams to deliver customer-facing features on time and to metric.
- Build and monitor telemetry dashboards and funnels to enable data-informed decisions.
- Contribute to privacy, security, accessibility, and compliance reviews.
- Help manage integrations and APIs that expand platform capabilities and drive activation.
Experience & Qualifications
- 3+ years in product management, technical program management, consulting, or technical delivery roles.
- Direct experience with SaaS or cloud communications platforms (UCaaS/CCaaS).
- Proven track record shipping customer-facing product features in collaboration with engineers and designers.
- Strong written and verbal communication; comfortable producing PRDs and customer-facing materials.
Platform & Domain Knowledge (preferred)
- Familiarity with BroadWorks or comparable UCaaS architectures (hosted PBX, call routing, provisioning).
- CCaaS concepts: ACD, IVR, omnichannel routing, WFM/WFO, quality management (experience with NICE CXone is a plus).
- Core telephony protocols: SIP, RTP, WebRTC, trunking, number porting, E911 routing.
- Experience integrating with CRM, PMS (hospitality), call recording/analytics, and CPaaS/APIs.
Telecom Infrastructure & Compliance
- Awareness of STIR/SHAKEN, Robocall Mitigation Database, TRACED Act requirements.
- Knowledge of CPNI, E911/Kari’s Law, RAY BAUM’S Act obligations.
- Familiarity with SIP trunking, Operator Connect/Direct Routing models.
- Compliance considerations: PCI-DSS, call recording consent, HIPAA where applicable.
AI in Communications
- Experience or interest in voice AI, real-time transcription, sentiment analysis, and agent-assist tools.
- Understanding of generative AI features for CCaaS: summarization, next-best-action, and automated workflows.
Core Product Skills & Soft Skills
- Roadmap ownership and prioritization frameworks.
- Clear PRD/spec writing that engineering can build from.
- Pricing and packaging experience (SKU design, competitive positioning).
- Data literacy: ability to read analytics and usage to guide product decisions.
- Cross-functional leadership without formal authority.
- Vendor and channel partner negotiation experience.
- Customer empathy and direct customer engagement.
- Adaptability in a fast-moving AI and regulatory landscape.
Location, Compensation & Work Arrangement
- Location: Las Vegas, NV (role supports telecommute).
- Employment type: Full-time.
- Salary range: $90,000 — $120,000 per year (reported by the hiring organization).
- This role allows remote work/telecommute but will prioritize candidates eligible to work in the U.S.
