What You’ll Do

  • Partner with senior product leaders to manage the end-to-end lifecycle of UCaaS and CCaaS offerings — discovery, prototyping, launch, and post-release optimization.
  • Help define and prioritize the product backlog and roadmap, aligning features to measurable OKRs and KPIs.
  • Conduct customer research and user interviews to convert real-world needs into clear user stories and product requirements.
  • Own content and messaging: product announcements, go-to-market collateral, enablement materials, and customer-facing documentation.
  • Support go-to-market strategy, feature launches, and adoption efforts across enterprise, SMB, and vertical segments.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and data teams to deliver customer-facing features on time and to metric.
  • Build and monitor telemetry dashboards and funnels to enable data-informed decisions.
  • Contribute to privacy, security, accessibility, and compliance reviews.
  • Help manage integrations and APIs that expand platform capabilities and drive activation.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Direct experience with SaaS or cloud communications platforms (UCaaS/CCaaS).
  • Proven track record shipping customer-facing product features in collaboration with engineers and designers.
  • Strong written and verbal communication; comfortable producing PRDs and customer-facing materials.

Platform & Domain Knowledge (preferred)

  • Familiarity with BroadWorks or comparable UCaaS architectures (hosted PBX, call routing, provisioning).
  • CCaaS concepts: ACD, IVR, omnichannel routing, WFM/WFO, quality management (experience with NICE CXone is a plus).
  • Core telephony protocols: SIP, RTP, WebRTC, trunking, number porting, E911 routing.
  • Experience integrating with CRM, PMS (hospitality), call recording/analytics, and CPaaS/APIs.

Telecom Infrastructure & Compliance

  • Awareness of STIR/SHAKEN, Robocall Mitigation Database, TRACED Act requirements.
  • Knowledge of CPNI, E911/Kari’s Law, RAY BAUM’S Act obligations.
  • Familiarity with SIP trunking, Operator Connect/Direct Routing models.
  • Compliance considerations: PCI-DSS, call recording consent, HIPAA where applicable.

AI in Communications

  • Experience or interest in voice AI, real-time transcription, sentiment analysis, and agent-assist tools.
  • Understanding of generative AI features for CCaaS: summarization, next-best-action, and automated workflows.

Core Product Skills & Soft Skills

  • Roadmap ownership and prioritization frameworks.
  • Clear PRD/spec writing that engineering can build from.
  • Pricing and packaging experience (SKU design, competitive positioning).
  • Data literacy: ability to read analytics and usage to guide product decisions.
  • Cross-functional leadership without formal authority.
  • Vendor and channel partner negotiation experience.
  • Customer empathy and direct customer engagement.
  • Adaptability in a fast-moving AI and regulatory landscape.
