Role Overview
confidential client is seeking a motivated, collaborative Associate Product Manager to join a global product team. In this hybrid role based in San Jose, CA, you’ll take ownership of product and feature areas, help define strategy and roadmaps, and support go-to-market execution while collaborating across Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Operations.
What You’ll Do
- Own strategy, planning, and delivery for assigned product and feature areas across the global portfolio.
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify opportunities and inform data-driven decisions.
- Define and maintain product vision, roadmap, and go-to-market strategies.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Operations to ensure alignment from concept through launch.
- Author clear user stories, functional and non-functional requirements, and product documentation.
- Present plans and progress to executive leadership and serve as the internal champion for your product area.
- Drive execution using agile practices and strong cross-functional collaboration.
What We’re Looking For
Required qualifications:
- 1–3 years of practical experience in the technology sector or consumer product industries.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills; able to influence across functions and levels.
- Analytical mindset, strong attention to detail, and a problem-solving approach.
- Ability to articulate product ideas clearly and produce effective product documentation.
- Hands-on experience using AI tools to accelerate productivity and output.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree (MBA, MS in Computer Science, or related) preferred.
- Internship or prior experience in product management or business strategy within a technology company.
Location & Work Model
- Hybrid role based in San Jose, CA (confidential client headquarters) — typically 3 days on-site per week.
- Candidates must be able to commute to the San Jose location as required by the role.
