Role Overview

Confidential Client (via Careertakes) is hiring an Associate Product Manager to support in-house product development for transportation operations. You will help define product roadmaps, translate business needs into user stories and acceptance criteria, coordinate with design and engineering, and use data to measure product impact.


What You’ll Do

  • Assist with the full product lifecycle for assigned products — from concept through release and end-of-life.
  • Help establish and maintain product roadmaps that prioritize features and functionality against business objectives.
  • Translate roadmaps into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate with product owners, design, engineering and stakeholders to align on priorities and deliverables.
  • Provide technical context and clarify requirements for development teams throughout iterations and releases.
  • Review and accept completed user stories; validate that delivered work meets acceptance criteria.
  • Use internal data tools to analyze product performance and measure impact on key metrics.
  • Coordinate communications, and escalate or facilitate resolution of risks, issues, and backlog changes.
  • Proactively assist teammates and cross-functional partners to help the organization meet objectives.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years’ experience in information systems and/or transportation operations and/or finance (required).
  • Experience or familiarity with product lifecycles and product management practices preferred.
  • Previous experience using data/analytics tools and interpreting metrics preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate technical details for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in collaborative, cross-functional teams and iterating quickly.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay Range: $75,250 - $88,000 annually (depending on experience).
  • Benefits package may include: 401(k), medical, dental, vision, disability, supplemental and life insurance, employee stock purchase plan, paid training, wellness programs, flexible spending account, tuition assistance (subject to change), military leave, and vendor discounts.

Location & Eligibility

  • Job Location: Phoenix, AZ (onsite / local collaboration expected).
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. Confidential Client does not sponsor employment visas for this position.
