What You’ll Do

  • Support the development, communication, and execution of product strategy for an assigned product category, delivering brand strategy, product category management, and integrated marketing planning.
  • Maintain and evolve a clear product roadmap aligned to short- and long-term business objectives, prioritizing fast-paced new product development, releases, and sustaining product support.
  • Define features and requirements through well-written user stories and acceptance criteria that drive both hardware and software engineering efforts.
  • Partner cross-functionally with engineering, marketing, sales, and customer experience teams to create go-to-market plans, pricing strategies, and operational plans that grow and scale the business.
  • Support daily scrum activities; work with engineering teams to track progress, resolve blockers, and meet delivery timelines.
  • Provide product content guidance and prioritization; assist with integrated marketing planning and launch execution.
  • Protect confidential information, follow health & safety guidelines, and contribute to team goals and projects.

Who You Are (Minimum Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in engineering, marketing, and/or product management (or similar roles).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to write clear user stories and product requirements.
  • Comfortable working on products that combine hardware and software elements.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum practices and experience supporting sprint planning and ceremonies.
  • Analytical mindset, detail-oriented, and able to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with connected devices, IoT, or consumer-focused hardware+software products.
  • Prior exposure to go-to-market strategy, pricing, or integrated marketing planning.
  • Experience using product management tools (roadmapping, backlog, analytics) and working with cross-functional stakeholders to drive launches.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base pay range: $85,500.00 - $162,975.00 per year. Base pay offered may vary depending on factors such as the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
  • Position is eligible for a short-term incentive plan and includes a comprehensive benefits package and 401(k) contribution (benefits subject to eligibility).

Location & Work Model

  • Hybrid role based in Oak Brook, IL. Candidates should expect a mix of on-site collaboration at the Oak Brook office and remote work as coordinated with the hiring team.
