Overview

Confidential Client is seeking an Associate Product Manager - Insurance to support product strategy, customer engagement, and market research for insurance-focused solutions. This is a client-facing, full-time role based in Malvern, PA that blends product development, industry research, and stakeholder communication to increase product adoption and guide roadmap decisions.


What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the primary liaison between Confidential Client product teams and enterprise customers, gathering feedback and ensuring customer needs inform product decisions
  • Lead customer meetings, product demos, and presentations to communicate product value and collect insights
  • Maintain product and use-case documentation; translate insurance business processes into actionable product requirements
  • Conduct insurance market and sector research (personal auto, commercial auto, homeowners, surety bonds, etc.) and present findings to the product team and leadership
  • Provide insurance industry subject-matter expertise to influence product direction and packaging decisions
  • Support product marketing and sales efforts by developing industry-aligned messaging and helping prepare sales materials
  • Coordinate with technical partners and internal stakeholders to assess capacity, timelines, and potential product availability
  • Help establish and manage partnerships with external solution providers to strengthen product offerings
  • Support membership growth and customer success activities by documenting industry benefits and use cases
  • Attend professional development activities to remain current on insurance and risk-management trends
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience or working knowledge of the risk management or insurance industry is required
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze insurance business problems and present research-backed recommendations
  • Strong program/project management skills with experience meeting milestones, deadlines, and budgets
  • Experience working with Agile software development teams
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams) and Visio
  • Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable presenting to clients and internal leadership
