Role Overview

Confidential Client is hiring an Associate Product Manager — Forward Deployed (onsite 5 days/week) in Ambler, PA. This is an operational, customer-facing APM role working directly with customers, engineering, and design to deliver product improvements for HR/recruiting workflows. The role is ideal for someone with product sense, strong communication skills, and a bias toward action in a high-cadence, on-site environment.


What You’ll Do

  • Act as a forward-deployed Associate Product Manager embedded with customer-facing teams to gather feedback, prioritize work, and validate product solutions.
  • Drive product discovery and rapid experimentation with customers, designers, and engineers.
  • Translate customer needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Coordinate cross-functional execution: partner with engineering, design, QA, and operations to deliver value quickly.
  • Track product performance and inform roadmap decisions using qualitative and quantitative signals.
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders and help shape go-to-market and adoption strategies.

Qualifications (Required)

  • 1–3 years experience in product, product operations, customer success, program management, consulting, or a related role where you partnered with product or engineering teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to work directly with customers to uncover needs and validate solutions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to present product ideas and trade-offs clearly.
  • Comfortable handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced, on-site environment.
  • Problem-solving mindset and basic data literacy (able to interpret product metrics; familiarity with analytics tools or SQL is a plus).
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred (Nice to Have)

  • Prior experience in HR tech, recruiting, or resume/CV automation products.
  • Familiarity with Agile product development and creating user stories.
  • Experience running customer interviews, usability testing, or pilot programs.
  • Technical fluency that enables productive collaboration with engineers.
