What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is hiring an Associate Process Engineer to support manufacturing, process, and/or packaging operations for vision-focused MedTech products. This early-career engineering role works within a value stream or project team to help maintain and improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance in a regulated manufacturing environment.

  • Provide day-to-day engineering support for assigned manufacturing, process, or packaging areas.
  • Use structured problem solving and data analysis to identify, analyze, and resolve equipment, process, and product issues.
  • Troubleshoot processes to restore and improve product quality, safety, and throughput.
  • Support equipment and process qualification and validation activities in accordance with regulatory and internal requirements.
  • Assist with change control activities: impact assessments, implementation, and documentation.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation following Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • Apply basic statistical and analytical tools (data trending, basic DOE) to evaluate process performance.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma) and support defined improvement projects.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Communicate technical findings, risks, and recommendations clearly to cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
  • 0–2 years of relevant engineering experience (including internships or co-op).
  • Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across functions.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in standard office and data-analysis tools.
  • Ability to produce clear, compliant technical documentation.
  • Fluency in English.

Preferred:

  • Experience or exposure to regulated manufacturing (medical devices / MedTech) environments.
  • Experience with validation, change control, or process improvement activities.
  • Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Basic experience with DOE and statistical tools.

Location & Work Type

  • Jacksonville, Florida — Onsite (site-specific requirements apply).
  • Full-time, entry-level / early-career position (0–2 years experience).
