Role Overview

Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Associate, Planning to join a media planning team in Chicago, IL. This role supports cross-channel media strategy, data-driven planning, and creation of client-facing deliverables. Ideal for candidates who are analytical, organized, and eager to grow their media planning skills.

What You’ll Do

• Support the planning team in developing and executing cross-channel media strategies that align with client business objectives
• Collect, interpret, and synthesize data to inform media plans across digital and traditional channels
• Help build client deliverables: flowcharts, presentations, competitive reviews, and reporting materials
• Contribute to campaign analyses and provide actionable insights and recommendations
• Maintain accurate documentation and support planning processes and timelines
• Coordinate with activation, analytics, and strategy partners to ensure cohesive execution
• Learn and adopt internal planning tools, processes, and best practices; participate in training sessions

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, communications, business, or related field
• Familiarity with media planning principles and the broader marketing ecosystem
• Strong analytical skills and comfort interpreting data
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with media planning tools a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Collaborative, self-motivated, and eager to learn in a fast-paced agency environment

Compensation & Location

• Employment type: Full-time
• Location: Chicago, IL (on-site expectation)
• Salary: $45,000 per year (as provided in the original posting)
• Workplace: Confidential Client requires a minimum of three days per week in-office attendance; this expectation may increase per client policy or manager direction.
