What You’ll Do

As an Associate Overhead Transmission Line Engineer supporting Confidential Client, you will build foundational technical skills while contributing to overhead transmission line design and delivery. You will work under general supervision and take on progressively more complex engineering tasks.

• Continue to learn and apply departmental design guides, standards, applicable engineering codes, and Confidential Client policies and procedures.
• Prepare engineering deliverables and increasingly complex calculations using established methods.
• Perform research and develop recommendations for equipment and material selection.
• Collect, assimilate, and manage data required for engineering work and ensure adherence to project budget, schedule, and quality expectations.
• Coordinate with project leadership and internal/external team members on less complex projects; interact with other disciplines on design details.
• Assign tasks and provide mentorship to entry-level staff and interns as skills develop.
• Support continuous improvement, change management efforts, and occasionally assist with business development or pursuit activities.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 1 year of related engineering experience (overhead transmission or related power systems experience preferred).
• Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements which may include background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, consistent with applicable laws.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience or coursework related to overhead transmission line projects and structural considerations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively on multidisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to engineering quality.

• Colorado pay transparency range: $91,047 - $152,053 per year (final compensation determined by skills, experience, qualifications, and location)
