About the Role

This is an entry-level Associate MRO Buyer role supporting indirect procurement and supplier management for a Confidential Client in the Medical Device / MedTech industry. This is an on-site position in Auburn, MA. Compensation: $58,800 - $76,300 per year. Occasional travel to supplier sites may be required.

You will work with purchasing and operations teams to ensure continuity of supply, maintain accurate purchasing and supplier data, support cost-savings efforts, and deliver excellent internal customer service while learning procurement best practices.

What You’ll Do

• Process purchase requisitions and create purchase orders for expense and capital purchases, ensuring timely supplier communication.
• Monitor inventory levels, manage replenishment activities, and maintain accurate purchasing records in SAP or similar ERP/MRP.
• Support supplier onboarding, vendor master data maintenance, and Approved Supplier List (ASL) administration.
• Partner with Accounts Payable, Receiving, Warehouse, and suppliers to resolve purchasing, delivery, and invoice issues.
• Assist with supplier performance monitoring, sourcing initiatives, and implementation of cost savings projects.
• Administer blanket purchase orders, service agreements, and recurring MRO purchases to support operational continuity.
• Prepare reports, analyze purchasing data, and support procurement process improvements and compliance activities.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• 0–2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, operations, inventory planning, or related function.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with SAP or a similar ERP/MRP system is preferred.

Nice to Have

• Experience with supply chain analysis, Tableau, or other data reporting tools.
• Knowledge of ISO 13485 or experience in regulated manufacturing environments.
• Prior experience in the medical device industry.
