Position Summary (overview)

This listing represents a full-time, entry-level Member Services role supporting branch operations for a Confidential Client in the Accounting & Finance industry. The role focuses on delivering excellent member (customer) service across in-person, phone, and digital channels, basic cash handling and teller functions, and learning account-opening and product-referral processes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Comply with all Confidential Client policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Protect member information and ensure account access is for business purposes only.
  • Process member transactions accurately in the core system and maintain a balanced cash drawer.
  • Adhere to check acceptance and hold guidelines.
  • Greet and assist members courteously in-person, by phone, and via digital channels.
  • Answer phones and address member service requests and basic troubleshooting for accounts, cards, and online access.
  • Operate drive-through teller window when required.
  • Balance vault, ATMs, teller cash dispensers, and coin sorter; verify and prepare cash deliveries/shipments.
  • Evaluate daily mobile and ATM check deposits.
  • Process foreign and domestic wire transfers; assist with ordering/returning foreign currency.
  • Organize, file, and scan documents, and maintain daily/monthly reports (e.g., return items, forgeries).
  • Begin learning to open basic accounts (share, money market, checking, Share Term Certificates) under supervision.
  • Start building knowledge of Financial Advisory and Real Estate products for referral purposes.
  • Participate in required training and complete internal Core Module Program within the required timeframe.
  • Perform other administrative duties and tasks assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree, CCUE Certification, or Associate degree (per relevant community college transfer programs).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer-service orientation with an aptitude for building member trust and confidence.
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to complete required training programs within specified timelines.
  • Regular attendance and punctuality are mandatory.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

  • Office/branch setting with regular interaction with members and colleagues; some background noise typical of branch operations.
  • Primarily a seated role with frequent computer and phone use; must be able to lift 10–15 pounds.
  • Ability to comprehend and respond to phone and in-person inquiries.

Compensation & Schedule

  • Employment type: Full-time.
  • Estimated pay: $38,149 per year (estimated). Actual pay and benefits are determined by Confidential Client and may vary based on location, experience, and applicable laws.
  • Additional benefits and time-off policies are set by Confidential Client.
