Overview
The Associate Member Service Representative is an entry-level, full-time branch role based in Fayetteville, NC supporting daily branch operations for a Confidential Client in the Accounting & Finance industry. This position provides hands-on experience with teller transactions, member service, cash management, and basic account processes. Compensation: $25 per hour.
What You’ll Do
- Provide friendly, professional service to members in-person, by phone, and via digital channels.
- Process teller and member transactions accurately and in accordance with policy.
- Balance a cash drawer and assist with vault, ATM, cash dispenser, and coin sorter reconciliation.
- Accept and evaluate mobile and ATM check deposits daily.
- Assist with cash deliveries, wire transfers, foreign currency orders/returns, and dispute processing.
- Open basic accounts and follow established procedures under supervision.
- Organize, file, and scan documents; maintain daily and monthly records.
- Operate drive-through window and support cross-department requests as needed.
- Learn and use branch systems and call-center tools (e.g., CXone) and support teammates.
- Refer members to Financial Advisory and Real Estate product specialists when appropriate.
- Complete additional training and required core modules within the timelines set by the employer.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree, CCUE Certification, or Associate degree via NC-CTP.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer-service orientation with the ability to build member trust and confidence.
- Basic problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to complete required training programs within the employer’s timelines.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Office/branch setting with regular interaction with members and coworkers.
- Some background noise from phones, printers, and coin/counting equipment.
- Frequent sitting and routine computer/phone use.
- Ability to lift 10–15 pounds and perform standard teller duties.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $25.00 per hour (hourly, full-time).
