Role Overview

This is an entry-level, full-time Associate Mechanical Engineer role in Baltimore, MD as part of a 2027 Pathways program. The confidential client is hiring for mission-oriented engineering work in the Engineering industry. U.S. citizenship is required because a DoD Secret clearance is required to start. Relocation assistance may be available; expected travel is up to 10%.

What You’ll Do

• Support engineering work within a mission-systems environment as a member of the Pathways program
• Assist with mechanical design review, documentation, and verification activities
• Prepare and execute test and validation tasks under direction
• Work with cross-functional teams (systems, test, manufacturing) to support deliverables
• Maintain clear technical records and follow established procedures for classified work
• Travel as needed (approximately 10%)

Minimum Qualifications

A candidate must meet ALL items below:

• Be completing or have completed a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
• Major in Mechanical Engineering (or have completed that major)
• U.S. citizenship required to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance
• Able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (final DoD Secret Clearance required to start)
• Able to obtain Special Access Program access within a reasonable timeframe, as needed

• Overall cumulative GPA of 3.00/4.0 or higher (preferred)

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range (Bachelors): $66,200 - $99,200 per year (posted range)
• Estimated market pay shown on source: approximately $105,836 per year (estimate)

• Pay and final offer will depend on role, experience, education, skills, and market conditions
