What You’ll Do

HYBRID ROLE — onsite in Mahwah, NJ (4 days on-site expected). Support the technical execution of capital equipment and manufacturing improvement projects from concept through production release. Work cross-functionally with Project Managers, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Facilities, Supply Chain, and external equipment suppliers to ensure projects meet schedule, safety, quality, and operational objectives.

  • Support Project Managers by coordinating project activities, tracking action items, and keeping stakeholders informed
  • Attend project meetings and assist with equipment installations, FAT/SAT, and validation activities
  • Help troubleshoot technical issues with suppliers and internal engineering teams to keep projects on schedule
  • Maintain project documentation, drawings, and validation records
  • Spend time on the manufacturing floor to understand processes and support implementation activities
  • Learn the project lifecycle and progressively take ownership of project tasks

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Biomedical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
  • 0–2 years engineering experience (internships and co-op experience count) — entry-level candidates encouraged to apply
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work across cross-functional teams
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently
  • Technical aptitude and a demonstrated willingness to learn manufacturing processes, project management, and capital equipment implementation

Nice to Haves

  • Internship or co-op experience in manufacturing, engineering, or project-based roles
  • Exposure to automation, robotics, or medical device manufacturing (highly preferred)
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement principles
  • Experience with Microsoft Project, Excel, or other project management tools
  • Project management or process improvement certifications (PMP, Lean Six Sigma) are a plus

Work Location & Schedule

  • Location: Mahwah, NJ — hybrid role with 4 days on-site required
  • Role involves both office and manufacturing floor time; some hands-on work and travel between plant areas may be required

Compensation (Estimated)

  • Estimated base salary: $80,492 per year — shown as an estimate from the source posting
