About the Role

As an Associate on the investment team you will support deal sourcing, evaluation, execution, and ongoing portfolio oversight for middle-market companies. This role is ideal for a high-performing, analytical professional with transactional experience and a long-term, impact-oriented investment mindset. You will work closely with senior leaders to evaluate targets, build financial models, support due diligence and help drive value creation at portfolio companies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and primary outreach to support deal sourcing and pipeline development.
• Build and maintain financial models, valuation analyses, and scenario workstreams.
• Prepare short- and long-form investment memoranda and present findings to the team.
• Support due diligence across commercial, financial, and operational areas; coordinate external advisors as needed.
• Assist with transaction execution, including transaction structuring and financial analysis.
• Monitor portfolio company performance; assist with strategy deployment, add-on acquisition analysis, and quarterly valuation reporting.
• Help run the internship program and contribute to firm-wide best-practice tools and initiatives, including AI-related projects.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in investment banking, private equity, family office, corporate development, management consulting, or similar transaction-oriented roles.
• Strong financial modeling and advanced Excel skills; comfortable with valuation methodologies and analyzing financial statements.
• Solid accounting and finance knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
• Self-starter who thrives in a small, team-oriented environment and values humility, stewardship, and impact.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship; visa sponsorship is not offered.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base pay range: $107,300 – $134,150 per year (base pay positioned within the range based on experience and internal equity).
• Contract / Full-time opportunity (employment terms subject to client decision).
