What You’ll Do

Join a confidential client’s early-career engineering cohort as an Associate Java Spring Boot Developer / Data Scientist. In this entry-level role you’ll work on code, data pipelines, and analytics that support production services and ML experiments. Typical responsibilities include:

• Build and maintain Java Spring Boot microservices and REST APIs
• Write clean, testable code and participate in code reviews
• Help design and run data ETL pipelines using SQL and Python
• Support model development and evaluation for basic ML tasks
• Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to CI/CD and DevOps workflows
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, QA, data engineering) to deliver features
• Document designs, tests, and runbooks

Who You Are (Qualifications)

We’re looking for recent grads or early-career engineers who can demonstrate core skills, curiosity, and strong learning potential:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Statistics, Information Systems, or related field
• Hands-on experience (projects, internships, coursework) with Java and Spring Boot
• Familiarity with Python for data tasks and basic ML libraries (pandas, scikit-learn)
• Solid SQL skills and comfort querying relational databases
• Understanding of REST APIs, microservices principles, and version control (Git)
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
• Eagerness to learn modern DevOps/CI-CD practices and cloud basics

Nice-to-Have

• Coursework or projects in data science, machine learning, or analytics
• Exposure to containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks and automated pipelines
• Any internship or part-time experience on production systems

Compensation & Location

• Salary range: $78,000 - $127,000 per year
• Employment type: Full-time
• Location: Fort Worth, TX — on-site or hybrid as required by the confidential client
